About Pinnacle

Built by farmers, for farmers — we're on a mission to transform livestock trade in Africa

Our Story

From a Small Farm to a National Platform

Pinnacle was founded in 2019 by a group of farmers from Kenya and Uganda who were tired of fraudlences from middlemen and lack of transparency in livestock sales. What started as a WhatsApp group connecting local farmers evolved into Kenya's largest dedicated livestock marketplace.

Today, we connect over 4,800 verified farmers with thousands of buyers — from individual households to large meat processors and dairy cooperatives — across all 47 counties in Kenya. Our platform is built on three pillars: Trust, Transparency, and Technology.

What Drives Us

Our Core Values

Everything we build and every decision we make is guided by these principles

Trust & Safety

Every seller is verified. Every listing is reviewed. Buyers can buy with confidence knowing we stand behind every transaction.

Fair Trade

We cut out the middlemen so farmers get fair prices for their livestock and buyers get competitive market rates.

Accessible Technology

Our platform works on any device, even low-bandwidth connections — because every farmer deserves digital access.

Community First

We reinvest in farming communities through education programs, vet services partnerships, and farmer training.
